Functional Furniture

Antique furniture is one of the most functional rehab projects we have found. The cost to rehab a piece of furniture is low in comparison to other projects and an accent piece in your house can add character while increasing the functionality of the room.

Kitchen Table found at a Rummage Sale...

Steps we took
  • cleaned and allowed the surface to dry to better identify the key areas that need attention
  • used fine sand paper to buff out target spots in the wood grain
  • used turpentine to clean the dust and any residual stain off to ensure a clean surface
  • tested the new stain (selected Red Mahogany) on the bottom of the table (and loved it!)

About Us

We are sisters, searching for great accents to add to your style. We are from a town outside of the city where fashion was an afterthought and we want to share our finds with others and encourage you to do the same.
